Resin finishes are hard wearing, easy to clean, hygienic, maintenance free and have a long lifespan.
The main types of flooring installed within this sector are:

• Heavy duty Polyurethane resin floor screeds between 6-9mm in thickness. Self coloured throughout with a good slip-resistant texture of +36 PTV in the wet these resin floor screed have exceptional resistance to impact and abrasion, protecting the underlying concrete or screed from damage. These pigmented matt finish products also possess excellent chemical resistance to acids and alkalis making the screed ideal for the chemical process industry.
  The resin floor screed can be used in any hard working areas within a factory or engineering environment where performance is paramount.
• Epoxy or Polyurethane smooth resin floor screeds and toppings between 2-6mm in thickness are commonly installed within circulation and fork truck routes, warehouses and process areas which require heavy ware resistance.
• Epoxy resin coatings of 0.5mm thickness are commonly installed in work areas which are subject to foot and light wheeled traffic. These products are economic, quickly installed and can be smooth or textured. The coatings are waterproof, oil and chemical resistant and hard wearing.
• Epoxy resin Sandwich or grip systems comprise build ups of resin layers encapsulating anti-slip graded quartz, bauxite or aluminium oxide to provide a very hard wearing slip resistant finish. The product profile can be varied in slip resistance and coarseness by changing the size and type of aggregate. The systems can be applied form 1.25mm to 6mm in thickness to suit the undulation and profile of the subfloor and the type of environment.
