Previously the domain of soft flooring, tiles and laminates, Industrial resin flooring allows for a new take on high performance durable and attractive finishes in schools, colleges and universities.

Resin finishes are hard wearing, easy to clean, hygienic, maintenance free and have a long lifespan.

The main types of flooring installed within this sector are:

• Flexible Polyurethane resin, pigmented comfort flooring solutions. These are soft to the touch, sound attenuating, crack bridging and hard wearing. Used extensively in areas such as classrooms, circulation areas, atriums and reception areas.
• Decorative resin flake flooring which provides a beautiful mottled appearance with multi coloured PVA flakes embedded into a pigmented resin and sealed with clear resins. Where an attractive decorative finish is required which is available in multiple colourways this vinyl looking product can be laid seamlessly. Available in Epoxy resin and ultra-fast curing MMA resin.
• Decorative Epoxy resin Quartz floor screeds providing very good slip resistant and wearing properties. Multicoloured pigmented grains are bound in a clear resin binder and hand trowelled to the floor, the finish can also be formed to a coved skirting to provide a tanked and hygienic seamless floor. Installed in catering and kitchen environments, seating areas, changing rooms and shower areas. Available in Epoxy resin and ultra fast curing MMA resin.
• Hard wearing High build epoxy and polyurethane coating systems and slip resistant systems between 0.5mm thickness and 2mm thickness installed in bricklaying, woodworking, and metal work technical classrooms. Also installed in plant rooms to provide a waterproof and slip resistant finish is required.
• Acid resistant Polyurethane resin floor screeds used within chemical laboratories where spillages are likely to occur.
